How to maintain and care for your Ciavey jewellery

Most of our precious jewellery is crafted from the finest sterling silver. Sterling silver has the ability to tarnish when not worn, wearing your jewellery regularly will prevent any tarnish build up.

To remove any tarnish from the sterling silver charms, you can use the Ciavey silver polishing cloth that we provide with all orders. You simply rub the cloth against the silver charms until they become bright and shiny. The cloth is reusable and we recommend keeping it in the grip-seal bag to preserve the cleaning agent.

We have also included a suede storage bag for your jewellery for when it is not worn, or you are taking it with you on your travels.

Care tips

Avoid getting lotions or perfumes in contact with your jewellery. We do not recommend getting your jewellery wet, as this could tarnish the sterling silver and dull the semi-precious beads.
